Ocean Transportation
Sea freight is a core offering within Red’s comprehensive range of services and can be offered on a stand-alone basis or as part of a managed supply chain solution.
The clearly defined and established services provided withinthe product portfolio are tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer, from multi-route, multimodal customers with complex requirements, to customers with one-off shipments requiring route expertise only. Red utilises its network (with agents based a.o. in Houston, Aberdeen, Dubai, Norway and Singapore), its expertise and buying power, to deliver robust and economic services to all customers, irrespective of their size or scope.
Red is strongly positioned to manage all of our customers’ sea freight requirements with experienced freight personnel handling product flow from start to finish. Costs are controlled by leveraging the annual buying power. Service excellence is assured by utilising a number of preferred carriers whose service is monitored on a regular basis. With this spirit of partnership, we are able to constantly improve our joint product to the benefit of all customers.
Ocean Chartering Services
Red offers all types of Vessel Chartering Services both in-house who operate a dedicated chartering desk. In addition, Red is the nominated West-African ship’s agent for several large breakbulk/project vessel owners, who each manage a large fleet of modern Multi-Purpose vessels.
Through this business relationship, Red is able to offer a unique service in managing the international (vessel) chartering, the local vessel agency, and the destination services alike.
Road Transportation
Red provides roadfreight services both as stand-alone operations and in conjunction with other logistics services. The expertise and critical mass acquitted through this enables us to provide a range of dedicated and multi-user transport solutions designed to offer flexibility, cost effectiveness and high service levels.
Road Transportation Services are offered in various regions, but most prominently in West-Africa and in Europe. By using subcontracted vehicles we can satisfy the most stringent customer requirements and offer a maximum of flexibility and diversity. Red has strategic partnerships and/or relationships with integrators such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, TNT and many domestic transportation companies.
A large part of Red is focused on the Oil & Gas and Offshore industries, and as a result we have a proven experience in moving heavy and out of gauge materials. Through our affiliated company, Team Heavy Lift, we can offer Transport Engineering Solutions to the local Industry in West-Africa, operating both owned and leased equipment.
